Giveaway – Get Ready for Halloween with Snazaroo

| October 14, 2010 | 26 Comments

**This competition is now closed! The winners are Christine and Mazz and will be contacted by Snazoaroo Reps directly**

Wow, two giveaways in one month. You guys are lucky lucky lucky!

Today, I have teamed up with Snazaroo to bring you some fabulous face paints just in time for Halloween. I have to confess, as a child I rather disliked face paints. Maybe it was because half of it would smudge off, I am not sure. Or maybe because it felt I was being drawn on with a scrubbing brush. But as Red Ted adores face paints and as I do not want to be a party pooper and the internet has been full of lovely Halloween crafts, I thought you would enjoy this giveaway: some fabulously easy to apply Snazaroo Face Paints!

The winner will receive a Halloween Face Painting Kit, which contains eight specially selected colours, a brush, a sponge and a step-by-step guide to help you transform your cherubs with a host of spooky designs. They will also score a Special Fix kit – which is just the thing for recreating all manner of realistic ghastly wounds and grisly scars. It contains gel blood, sculpting wax, face paint, a stipple sponge and a step by step guide. A second winner will also be treated to four of Snazaroo’s special Halloween Theme Packs. You can be rest assured that all Snazaroo products are non-toxic, hypoallergenic and easily removed with soap and water.

That should stop all that terrible smudging and leave your wonderful creation in tact! We should have had this when I was little!

It is open INTERNATIONAL and there will be TWO winners! So do take part!!

Here is our giveaway:

1st Giveaway:

  • 1 x Halloween Face Painting Kit
  • 1 x Special FX Kit

2nd Giveaway:

I’ve subscribed via Google connect, although I usually see your posts via twitter.

Last year my daughter was a bit too little to get into the spirit (<geddit?!) of Halloween. This year though we'll be decorating the house with paintings of spiders. I also have a decorative wreath for the front door which I made last year. I love making an effort for Hallowween, although it does mean we get loads of trick or treaters!

PS, I have wanted these for a loooong time. They used them in Chester zoo & they’re amazing, really great quality. This will be a fab prize for anyone :)

  12. MAZZ MULLARKEY says:

We do everything at our home.
I decorate the house with black bin-liners, cheap but very effective, then we use thin cotton wool and do our best to make cobwebs.
The girls will then print off piccys from the computer of spiders, skelton’s goblin’s and hand them around the house, the windows, doors, everywhere really.
We play apple bobbing, I think i enjoy that more than the girls!!
I change some of the lightbulbs to orange to give it that spooky effect.
2 pumpkins on the go, with an attempt to make pumpkin soup, never tastes quite right though.
Then off out up the streets annoying all the neighbours trick or treating, which is tons of fun.
Normaly out for around 3hrs, as the neighbouring streets make a real effort the the children.

I love Haloween – I get my spooky ghosts out (ooo-er!). They’re my tealight candle holders in a set of three each pulling a different face and holes in their eyes and mouths so the candle light shines through.

We decorate the house and buy lots of treats for trick & treaters. I always get a pumpkin and love creating weird and wonderful faces on them!!!

  14. am following via gfc :)

Halloween crafts. Hm. We’ve got to take something to our HE group party next week and I’m out of inspiration. Think it might be spider web paper cutting (kind of like cutting snowflakes out of paper, but I’ll use black paper) or pom pom spiders. Or possibly both!

    Will tweet as @liveotherwise :)
