You know me, I am a sucker for charity, especially charities that support the well being of children. I feel very fortunate:
* in my upbringing,
* my life in general and
* with my two gorgeous and healthy children,
– who have everything they need: food, water, vaccinations, clothes, far too many toys and the opportunity to learn and develop – we have 100s of children books (I am not kidding you) and we craft and cook almost daily. They get to enjoy their childhood, they get to learn and to explore.
Life comes easy. Their future is bright.
So when Action Aid asked me to take a look at the video below, as well as support their “Sponsor a Child” campaign, how could I not? This particular video was shot in Rwanda with actor Jimi Mistry supporting it, but Action Aid supports children and communities worldwide. Helping people to get out of the poverty trap by, for example providing schools and education for children or community centres local women to work in. Take a look at this video and consider donating to Action Aid. A little can go a long way.
Does your child go to school? Is their journey to school long and perilous? Does your child get to learn? Will your child have a future?
