Hi There are MANY brands of sealants, topcoats, varnishes, etc. in craft stores. Most of these will work for paper quilling to make it stiff, shiny, more durable, and water resistant. just take a trip to your local craft store and see what they have! Some will be quite liquid and some will be more stiff. One product that I use is PPA. It stands for “perfect paper adhesive” and is used a as a glue AND as a sealant/top coat. In addition, just make sure that the sealant you use is okay for paper. Some are specially made for fabric, some are for general use (which would be fine for paper), some are only for paints, etc. I use a little paintbrush to apply the sealant to my paper quilled jewelry. I do several layers to make sure it is all covered and is as water resistant as possible.
