It is indeed the season to merry in our house…. Birthdays, Advent and Christmas peaking around the corner. Our tree is finally up and to celebrate, some fabulous Stowells Light wine.
And… pssst… only 60 calories per glass and only 5.5% alcohol.
(you can have)
(Please remember to drink responsibly!)
No compromise on taste.
Thank you Stowells for sending me this complimentary tipple! Much enjoyed after a long day of school plays, brunches, Christmas tree buying and decorating.
Cheers & Merry Christmas everyone!
For those of you, you like to know a little more about the Stowell range of wines, I sampled the Stowells Light White Wine – Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, Stowells Light White is bursting with melon, pear and apricot fruit flavours, balancing fresh acidity with a touch of sweetness – When it comes to white wine, I can really be very fussy. Too sweet and you will have my lip curling! It really was light and refreshing and fruity without being too sweet. Actually it just had the right festive tinge of sweetness and really was delicious!
There is also a Rosé – Stowells Light Rosé:
This Shiraz Rose is a vibrant youthful pink, full of juicy strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit flavours. Perfectly balanced with a zesty acidity and a touch of sweetness.
As mentioned above, with just 60 calories per glass it has 30 per cent less calories than a standard glass of wine. As it has only 5.5% alcohol, these wines offer less than one unit of alcohol per 125ml serving – a great way to enjoy a glass of wine this Christmas without worrying about either you calorie intake or getting tipsy.
But please always remember to drink responsibly! And never drive when you have too much.
The wine is available at ASDA stores for only £5.49! Fabulous.
