I love that you are going to show the simple things too. It’s great that people can see every project doesn’t have to be a big awe inspiring one. I like the letter idea for potato printing.

Great post! Looking forward to the series. I am not a crafty kind of person. It is rare for us to do “projects” here, but we do lots of art. I think the process is way more important than the product, especially at a child’s level.

This is great – we are guilty of the loading too much paint in this house – but J loves the SPLATS that he creates at first so loads on even more. I love “making something” with an end product but also love the practising so this new series is great can’t wait to join in

I love this Maggie. You are right, activities like this are meant to explore over and over again as the child finds it interesting. It is amazing what young children can create when given the tools and an open slate:)

Potato letters – brilliant! I love the idea of making shapes with letters, and ultimately a piece of art. We’re going to enjoy doing this!
