How funny, we’ve been playing Memory this week! My three year old still doesn’t quite get the concept, but he is really cute trying. My five year old loves it. The twin 12 month olds just like to eat the cards.

We play the memory game with tractor cards. Goblin is a bit of a vehicle freak and can tell me which are the back hoe loaders and which are the excavators. I was amazed how good he was at finding the cards that matched. Kids surprise you all the time don’t they

I’ve not thought about doing something like this with the kids – bet the Fairy would love the challenge (The Frog is likely to attempt to eat the cards so think I had best wait before I attempt it with him!)

I love this – we made matching pair game back in the Spring – and have recently started to use it as memory. J is getting better at it but gets very very frustrated if he continues to get it wrong each time.
