As you know, we do like a bit of “do it yourself” – especially when it comes to the kids’ birthday parties. We recently had a unicorn theme party (more info to follow, but in the meantime, this was our Unicorn Party Craft), we have had a Cars Party and also a Superhero Party. Needless to say, having a party at home is great fun, it is quite cost effective, but it is also a lot of HARD WORK. Yep. Lots and lots of prep necessary, but every minute worth it.
Not one to shirk responsibilities, I also think it is perfectly fine to cut some corners. And one such corner is using “free printables” when creating and planning a party! One of the reason I share any printables I create with you, to make life a little simple.
And here is another set of great printable bunting from Verbaudet.
Love the party themed one and also adore the “colour your own” bunting (my kids LOVE colouring, this could keep them quiet for hours, whilst I rush around with final party preps).
Then cut out some letters (also part of the Children’s Party Bunting Printable) and spell out a child’s name or Brithday Party..
I thought the DIY bunting really looked effective at our Superhero Party and a friend borrowed it for her son’s party after ours. So it came to good use. I think the party bunting above, would look great with maybe some photos of your child cut our, or a picture relating to your child’s party theme (in our case, this would have been VERY handy with some little unicorns stuck on!
And whilst I rave on about free printables… Verbaude also has these Letter’s to Santa
I particularly like the pile of presents printable, as they can do some nice colouring whilst they are at it too!
