I have been wanting to write this post for aaaaaages. There are so many fabulous social media platforms out there and so many different ways to interact with each other these days and it can be hard to know which one to focus on… I love Instagram, for a peak behind the scences, I love Pinterest, well because it has SO many ideas in one place, I love Google+, because you can make great youtube videos with it, and I LOVE Facebook… because it seems to take a little bit of everything. You get great photos, you get the latest news from different blogs and you get lots and lots of new ideas as the page owners share the best content they can find. It is visual and it is fun and you can interact with your friends at the same time as finding inspiration and ideas – be it for the recipes, crafts or just life! So I wanted to share 12 of my favourite Facebook pages (ahem, I did of course include, Red Ted Art! I hope that that is ok!).
Please note, this guide isn’t about “size” of the page, but about what content they are providing.. so don’t be surprised to find a few “smaller gems” here!!
Modern Parents Messy Kids (MPMK for short) is the place to find family friendly recipes, home organization tips, parenting and play time ideas, and advice on what to do with all those photos! This page, not only provides you all this information, but MPMK takes BEAUTIFUL photos herself, presenting her recipes, ideas and advice in such an appealing manner you simply want to dive in and have a go. So if you want a visually appealing browse, this is the place to go.
Red Ted Art’s Facebook page is a popular destination for parents, carers and teachers alike for finding fun, inexpensive and season crafts and activities for kids and grown-ups alike. The ethos is about finding “do-able” crafts that don’t cost the earth to make, as well as providing lots and lots of inspiration. The Facebook page shares many of Red Ted Art’s own crafts, but also great ideas from around the web. A definite “go to” page for crafts!
Amy Locurto from LivingLocurto shares cute and easy DIY Party Ideas, Free Printables, Fun Food Ideas, Crafts and Delicious Recipes! This is a website that I feel my blog has “grown up with”. The printables really make life easy and fun!
