25 Years of Comic Relief!

Oh my, I remember when Comic Relief first started… and us all wearing Red Noses to school.. the teacher’s didn’t get it (we went to an international school, where charity fund raising days were less common). And we had a giggle with our mischievous noses all day.

And now it is 25 Years since!!! Wow. To celebrate and to report on the Good Work achieved by Comic Relief in the years gone by, 3 Mummy Bloggers (Mummy Barrow, Mammasaurus, Alexander Residence) and some Celebs went out to Ghana to take a look and report back.

I received a postcard from them today. Take a peak!

Dear Maggy

‘And….Push!’ cries the teacher and students as they dance in the classroom gangway, pushing their bottoms out. The teacher at the Virtuous Woman’s bread Project in Accra, Ghana is teaching her students English vocabulary and opposites, through dancing, rhyming and singing. I was really inspired as a teacher and mum by her innovative teaching techniques. No mean feat looking after 30 plus 2-6 year olds!

Love Penny
