Free Printables

I am a recent convert to printables… I used to not “get them”.. but I realised one day, that they are a clever and easy way to “jazz up” day to day things.. as well as printing off activities and “toys” for children, quickly, nicely and easily!

So if you are short of time and want something pretty. Printables it is!

Here are some I have used in the past! Please note that these printables are provided by the various website free of charge. So respect their copywright and use these for personal use only!

free printableBunny Garland

This  bunny garland has been popping up everywhere recently. And I am not surprised it is teh cutest little thing around AND the wonderful Titatoni even gives you a hand download so you can make these super duper quickly and easily! Thank you Titatoni!

PS the site is in German and you need to click -Hier- for the printable

Cupcake Wrappers

Now everyone knows I love to bake cupcakes and muffins with the children. They tend to taste nice, but do  not necessarily look exciting.. so these cupcake wraps are simply perfect. Visit Funky Time for the download.

Paper Dolls

Say Aaaaaaaahhhhhh. Aren’t these traditional dolls simply the cutest! Visit the Betsy Paper Doll site for hundreds and hundreds of the original dolls. Make sure you actually download the file (rather than grabbing the image), to ensure you get a good quality print out.

free printablesJapanese Origamis

The Origami Club has lots of “traditional patterns” to choose from. Now.. you can either use these for Origami – in which case click on the link, select a pattern your like and hit print – you will get a “classic” origami square… if you want to a larger sheet of paper e.g. for some more cupcake wrappers (see above), you may want a “whole” sheet of the same pattern. I did a “simple cheat” – you click on the pattern you like and the print window will open. Then you right click and copy the image. I then pasted it into power point were I copied the image 4 times and arranged it across one sheet… I am sure if you are good at photoshop you can do it in a clever and neater way.

Halloween

Paper Squid saved my life one Halloween.. when The Englishman bought ONE LARGE bag of many sweets and not many little bags of some sweets. I quickly made paper envelopes and stuck these on. They look great. The kids were intrigued by the mystery parcels and all was well. *Phew*.

free printablesSeed Packets

Spring is in the air.. and I am slowly getting excited about what we can plant again this year. I don’t know about you, but at the end of the “season” i have little torn packets everywhere. Also, last year, I save a whole load of seeds from tomatoes etc that we grew ourselves. They are all tucked away on tissue paper here and there. Here is a great way to keep them “prettily” or even give some away as small gifts? I know you don’t NEED a pretty package.. but come on, these are nice!! Or use them as money gift envelopes.. Go to Just Something I Made to hit print!
