Book Review: Witch Craft
You know me and crafts… love it love it love it all! And when I am asked to review a craft book, I simply cannot say no…. but mind you, I only review the books on Red Ted Art that I like! And here is one of them:
Witch Craft compiled by Margaret McGuire and ALicia Kachmar
Until having children, this would not normally have been my “book of choice”… but now that I have children and I want to make things fun for them. So this is indeed a great resource for Halloween or witch parties. I like that there is somehow something for everyone – make bottle potions with the girls, ghoulish soups with the boys or Spider Earrings for the mums.
I will definitely try out the ghoulish soup with ghost croutons, the next time I want Red Ted to eat green soup – maybe he will suddenly find it appealing?
I love the marshmallow skull idea, as well as the Peanut Butter & Jello Skull Sandwiches – I just know my Red Ted will love these and have a good old giggle!
And remember our Satsuma Jack O’Lanterns from last year? Well there are some of these in here too… so the book *must be good*. You will also find some knitting and sewing patterns and how to make your very own Dorothy Shoes and Witches Tutu… what more do you want for Halloween?
Happy Haunting!
