Boo Your Neighbors Ideas

What is Boo Your Neighbors? And How do you Boo Your Neighbors?

Boo Your Neighbours is a simple “pay it forward” idea, though you can also “run” it as a Secret Santa type community activity. The idea is simple. Pick a Neighbour that you feel needs a little pick me up. Create a Halloween Bucket of treats and leave it on their front door. Add a little note explaining Boo Your Neighbours and the pay it forward concept. The knock.. and run way!

The recipient is encouraged to “pay it forward” and in turn also create a Halloween Gift Pack, do boo another set of neighbours with!

If you are keen for a “return package” (though this isn’t the idea behind it, but understand, that some children may be hopeful…), you can organise yourself with a few neighbours and agree a type of secret Santa and Boo each other in this way too!

What to put in your Boo Your Neighbours Bucket/ Gift

Personally, I love all things crafty and non candy.. but of course Halloween is ALL about the Candy.. so why not add a mix of things? Either create a little craft kit (see some ideas below), add fun things like Halloween Pencils AND of course some sweets.
