Kids Craft: Calendar Project – Summer Review

Hello hello! As I am off on holiday this week, I thought I would do a quick summary of our calendar project to date… maybe it will inspire you to have a go this summer? We did do this every month, but with 6 weeks of summer holidays, you could maybe do two pictures a week? Christmas for Granny and Grandpa would then be sorted….! AND you would have a really fabulous use for recycling all your crafts!

So.. here we go (Click on each picture to see full post)

Kids Get Crafty: Winter Scene (for Calendar – January) Kids Get Crafty – Hearts (for Calendar February) Kids Crafts: Flower Collage Kids Crafts: Woodland People Kids Craft: Summer Picture Craft (Calendar Project)

I think the pictures are really looking lovely so far! We still have 5 pictures to go and no doubt we will have an Autumn Bubble Wrap tree and something Christmassy.. not sure yet about the other month’s but something always comes up!

I will then print off a calendar for 2012 . What of course would be REALLY handy, is an A3 Printer… Just think of the world or possiblities that would open up! But you could also use some A3 sugar paper and stick on the calendar dates at the bottom of your artwork. We will possible use a photo of the Flower Collage, as it is quite large. But I haven’t decided yet!

So.. if you need for something to do these long summer weeks, I challenge you to make a calendar….

And once you have made your calendar, don’t forget to get hold of some lovely (personalised) Christmas cards too!!

NOW.. as I am on holiday, I have put a linky up for you.. BUT.. I will not be able to come and visit and see your posts (sorry 🙁 ) AND I will not be linking up myself to other sites… so you MAY see your click through traffic go down. Sorry! However, to make up for it.. maybe you fancy visiting the 3 sites that have linked before you? Stop by? Say hello and comment?? Wouldn’t that be lovely?

Also.. if I did something “wrong” with this post (e.g. I didn’t put the linky up properly), I will not be able to fix it! So I apologise in advance!
