Creative Christmas Day 8 – Naughty or Nice
It is Day 8 of the Creative Christmas Countdown! Your virtual advent calendar to see you through to Christmas. Brought to you by Creative With Kids , Red Ted Art and 24 wonderful Kid Bloggers!!
Today it is time to find out whether you have been Naughty or Nice! Oh-oh! Which haev you been?
The craft is by the lovely SunScholars, a blog that I discovered early on in my “blogging career” and that I have enjoyed reading ever since. I think our crafting styles are similar and I always love to see what Sun Scholars has for in store for us next!
Sun Scholars do a great link up on Fridays too, that you should check out.
But first to Naughty or Nice:
Check out this quirk and fun craft NOW! Love it!!
Tip of the Day: You may be like me, and think that you need to make EVERYTHING yourself. No “space for craft kits in my house” – WRONG! Craft kits are a great way to get your kids “doing” – you don’t have to think, you don’t have to prep much and usually the kids can do it all themselves. Great for the kids to get crafty and for you to get some Christmas preparations done. We recently painted some Stained Glass windows and they were fab. Kits are usually very well priced. Contain everything you need. This morning Red Ted was sewing away at a little Hobbycraft elf puppet. I was impressed at how well he could do it himself – especially as the kit came with “holes for the needle” already. We have done “real sewing” before, but it was much harder for him and he needed much more help. The kit is helping him develop his sewing skills for “real sewing” later.
