Wrapping Paper Ideas for Kids

Last year, we went through a “spate” of making our own wrapping paper (we also have a great set of Gift Box DIYs and DIY Greeting Cards for Kids to Make). It was partly due to the fact, that we had RUN OUT of wrapping paper, but also because I thought it would be fun to involve the kids in making our own wrapping paper. A great outlet for their creativity, with a practical use! I am also a great fan of using brown paper or a simple box and wrapping it with a big colourful ribbon. During the Christmas season you can further decorate that with a homemade Christmas ornament, then add a homemade card and you have a really special gift.

This particular gift was filled with crafty goodies, and I encouraged the recipient to keep the box and decorated it!
