I’m super happy to be offering a fun valentines craft here on Red Ted Art, you might know me from the snowman book mark challenge I did with Red Ted Art at youtube London if you haven’t seen it yet go check that out!
I thought I’d share a craft that most kids my age (and younger) can make and would probably have the materials at home. As we are decorating my room I wanted to make a cool tactile wall art, I hope you have a go as I really enjoyed making this for my bedroom!
Heart Wall Art – Materials:
- Canvas
- Craft gems
- Glitter foam stickers
- Mixed buttons
- Sequins & glitter
- Glue
- pencil
Heart Wall Art – How To
Step 1:
Lightly draw a heart shape on to your canvas, don’t press too hard as you don’t want to see the lines when you have finished the project.
Step 2:
Start by adding and sticking the larger craft bits, such as the glitter foam shapes and larger buttons and dot them around on your heart shape.
Step 3:
Continue by adding the smaller craft pieces such as smaller gems, small sticker foam shapes and smaller buttons.
Step 4:
Fill any leftover white space with sequins and glitter to finish off your heart wall art.
