Finished Measurements of Pig if using similar Yarn

Approximately 7 inches long x 5 inches wide (17 cm long x 12 cm wide)

Making this gentle pig is a must, especially if you’re making other beloved farm friends. Although pigs are commonly portrayed in shades of pink, they come in a wide range of colors, including black, white or even spotted. Feel free to switch up the color options when crafting your pig to give it a creative twist. When I was growing up, pigs were one of my favorite animals and I often dreamt of having my own pet pig. Designing this miniature pattern allowed me to vicariously live out my dream!

Stuff the piggy’s leg lightly with poly-fil. Once you finish the last SC in Round 5, fold the bottom of your leg in half and crochet 3 SC through both sides, closing the leg. Fasten off and leave a short tail.

Round 23: [DEC] x 8. (8 STS)

Once you finish the last ST, fasten off and leave a 6-inch (15-cm) yarn tail for closing the plushie. Pull tight on the yarn tail to close the hole and weave the end of the tail into the body of your pig.
