DIY Dragon Mask Printables
Time for some fiery Dragons!! These free DIY Dragon Mask Printables are perfect for any DIY Dragon Craft Fans or people looking for cool free Chinese New Year Crafts too! Though we used coloured cardstock to make these, you could also cut them from paper and get the kids to colour them in themselves! Lots of Dragon Crafting fun! This is the perfect how to make a dragon mask out of cardboard using your free dragon template!

DIY Dragon Masks – Supplies:

- Cardstock
- Glue
- Scissors
- Popsicle Sticks
- Glitter
- Black Marker

How to make a dragon mask (with printable)
Cute out your Dragon Mask templates
Download the dragonfly mask template and print out.
Cut the template out.
Trace the template onto cardstock and cut out. (refer to the photos)
After cutting out the dragon’s nose, use black marker to add detail and nostrils.
Cut out the dragon’s head scales and horns and set aside.
Use a black marker to add detail to the dragon’s head. (draw a line with pencil down the middle to get more accurate lines)
Assembling the basking Dragon Mask Head
Glue the dragon’s head scales down and then glue the top of the dragon’s head over them.
Glue the nose in the middle of the dragon’s head.
Adding the Dragon Mask Fire and Details
Cut fire from cardstock and glue behind the dragon’s head, just below the nose.
Cut eye holes into the mask.
Fill the lines on the nose, nostrils, around the eyes, fire and horns with glue.
Cover the glue with glitter and allow it to dry.
Shake off any excess glitter.
Glue a popsicle stick onto the back of the mask and allow the glue to dry.
Your dragon mask is finished!
