Free Leaf Templates Printables for Autumn Craft Projects
Time to share another free printable template – our free leaf template printables. These leaf templates were created for my book a few years ago – in which I used them to make a simple but gorgeous little Paper Plate Leaf Wreath (more info below). I decided this was a resource you should have access to too, so created a set of Leaf templates to print. These leaf templates printables have three shapes loosely based on the oak leaf, the maple leaf and a generic leaf. They also come in 3 different sizes for different paper leaf crafts and art projects. You may also want to grab our Free Apple Templates in 4 sizes.

How to use these Free Leaf Template Printables
First, I would like to share a number of inspirational ways to use the leaf templates. You can use Leaf templates to write on, you can use them to trace and cut, you can paint on them.. you can doodle on them.. so many great paper leaft template ideas for you here. Paper Leaf Wreath with Paper Plates (or Cereal Boxes)
This leaf template is perfect for making our paper plate leaf wreath! Such a cute and simple paper fall wreath for Thanksgiving. The printable leaves and worksheet instructions are available in the teacher’s pay teacher’s store! Paper Leaf Twirlers for Autumn
You could use the leaf templates to make our super popular leaf twirler too! Such a fun classroom decoration using paper plates. Simply gorgeous!

Emma Owl shows how quick and easy it is to convert your Leaf Template into some doodle art leaves! How fun are these? Like Emma, you can do the WHOLE page (once you have traced your leaf) or you can simply doodle on the leaves themselves and then use these as part of paper leaf wreathes, leaf garlands or greeting cards. So fun!
Poem And Writing Leaves Templates
Or use the leaf templates to write on and create some Poem Leaf Trees or gratitude messages with these free leaf templates to print! Teaching in Room 6 has a great example of this!
Yarn Wrapped Leaves
We love yarn wrapping activities for kids (you will no doubt have seen our oh so favourite yarn wrapped apples!). Yarn Wrapped Leaves look great but are also great for fine motor skills and dexterity. Use our free leaf templates to make this fabulous fall craft like Preschool Play & Learn have done here.
