Many moons ago, we had a lovely guest post for these mini teddy bears and mini knitted bunnies! They are so cute!

Similarly we have some “removable tail” mermaid mini knits. This was a great project for when my kids first learnt to knit!

They also loved knitting these mini hats – they were great for dolls and teddies and we also kept a handful as Christmas Tree ornaments. So cute!

If you a crocheter, you are likely to be familiar with the “dumpling cat crochet pattern”… well here is it’s knitting amigurumi rival a super cute little Free Mini Cat Knitting Pattern – again, over on Ravelry (we simply have to love the generousity of ravelry knitters!).

I LOVE this collection of mini knitted toys, that you can download from Let’s Knit! Especially the textured tummy of the little knitted lion. These are just too cute.

Let’s Knit also has these free mini Chameleon Knitting Patterns. Aren’t they just the cutest? LOVE all the different colors. Great for yarn scraps.

Bigger Amigurumi Knitting Patterns
And now for some slightly bigger, but still relatively small and super cute knitting projects!

We love the adorable knittin projects by Sachiyo Ishii for Clover, including these cute piggies (and wolf, but I REALLY love the piggies..). There are more to browse in their knitting section on the clover website, but I have picked out my favourites. You can also browse her gorgeous website for many more ridiculously cute patterns on Knits by Sachi.

Love this seaside bear knitting patern (with penguin friend) – again by Sachiyo Ishii for Clover.

Izzy Tinkerbell Doll Pattern by Esther Braithwaite – Izzy Doll Patterns are all the rage and a big part of a the large Random Acts of Kindness group on Facebook. There are so many “basic” izzy doll patterns, but Esther is probably the “queen” of izzy doll designs. So here are a couple of her cute (free) projects to sample.

Esther Braithwaite also has these two teddy bear Izzy Dolls for free as well. So cute. But do check out the rest of her ravelry store for many amazing designs! I especially love the little rabbits in jumpers!

Another great “slightly bigger” knitted project is this dog in stocking – you could JUST make the dog if you don’t want to knit the sock! From Sachiyo Ishii at Clover.
As mentioned, don’t forget the Jellycat Amuseables Inspired Knitting Patterns here:
