How to make an Easy Snowman Pop Up Card
We love pop up cards. And have once again created a pop up card video for you to take a peak at! I hope you love it as much as we do, and that you do have a go! Written Step By Step instructions are below too!
How to make a paper chain pop up card – step by steps
Making your pop up snowmen
Concertina your white paper in aproximately 3.5cm folds. They need to super neat with each edge aligning perfectly. You need a total of 6 folds!
Draw a half a snowman – make sure the “edges” of the snowman are on the side that “flaps open” and also that it goes right to the edge – you will need a straight edge there so the trees do not fall apart, a bit like a Paper Doll Chain. The centre of the snowman should be on the closed side.
Cut out the snowmen. When you open it up you should have 3 snowmen connected together.
Decorating your Snowmen Cards
Time to decorate! We kep the decorations simple and fun – this time we just used pens to add cute faces, scarves and buttons! But you can use paper scraps to add noses and buttons too!
I also found some snowflake confetti to decorate the background with. But you can cut out a “snow” scener (see our Gnome Pop Up Cards, or this version of our Pop Up Snowman)!
Assembling your pop up paper chain snowmen card
Fold your concertina paper up. Add glue to one side and position on the card. Gently glue down.
Fold the paper again and apply glue to the second outside side. Fold the A6 Card on top for perfect placement.
Finally – glue your snowflakes in place.
Your Pop Up Paper Chain Snowman Cards are finished!
