Paper Valentine’s Penguin Paper Craft Supplies:
- black paper
- white paper
- orange paper
- white crayon
- glue stick
- scissors
- red, pink, or purple paper
Valentines’s Penguin Paper Craft Step by Step Directions:
Step 1: Fold a piece of black construction paper in half.ย Now weโre ready to draw our penguin!Begin by drawing the penguinโs head at the top of the fold and continue drawing down to the bottom of the page to create his body. Check that the top of the penguinโs head meets the fold. Next, draw one penguin wing.
Step 2: Time for some cutting! Cut out the penguinโs body and wing. Be sure to keep the paper folded as you cut! Now youโve created two wings and a folded penguin body.
Step 3: Now comes the fun part! Letโs make some creative details. Draw a heart on white paper for his belly. Next, make two eyes and a beak. Finally, create any other fun details you like including a bow tie, hat, hair bow or additional hearts. There are so many creative possibilities!
Step 4: Letโs get gluing! Collect up all of your penguin piecesย and glue them to the body. Save the feet to glue on after step 5.
Step 5: Now letโs get this guy standing! Fold the bottom edges of the penguin a half inch and glue together to create a base for the penguin.
Attach some little feet to the bottom. Now your little penguin is ready to stand tall and spread some love and friendship to all.
Thanks for crafting with me today! I hope these penguins brightened your day! Keep that construction paper handy and Iโll be back next month with another fun craft!ย Find Vin onย youngschoolart.blogspot.com,ย facebookย andย instagram!
