Ciao amici! My name is Morena, and I’m addicted to crafting. I particularly love to craft with thrifted or repurposed items and use them in unexpected ways. I write for several different sites, but you can always find me at my home site, www.morenascorner.com. Thanks for letting me visit and share a simple Valentine project with you.
I don’t know about you, but my children LOVE to play with my craft supplies! I like to indulge their urge to create as much as possible, and this is a fun project we made together that allowed them to play with my stencils and inks. By simply combining two stencils you can easily create monochromatic images. It’s a fun way to make a lot of Valentines!
Stencilled Valentine’s Day Card Supplies:
- Stencils
- Stamping Ink
- Craft or makeup sponge
- Cardstock
Stencilled Valentine’s Day Card How To:
Step one: Place the stencil of the desired image on the paper. When working with kids I like to use a little tape to hold it in place.
Step two: Lightly ink the sponge and rub the ink over the stencil. It creates a soft watercolor like effect.
Step three: Place the patterned stencil over the first stencil. Ink the sponge again and apply more of the same color ink to the stencils.
All that’s left to do is stamp or stick on a message, and your handmade Valentine is done!
I’d love for you to visit me and say “ciao” or “hello”! Here are three of my projects you might enjoy:
