Valentines Cards for Kids

Hi, Red Ted Art fans! I’m so excited to be here for the 31 Days of Love series. My name is Rachel and you can find me at I Heart Crafty Things. I am a Mom to three and I am fairly certain that I am addicted to kids crafts. Like A LOT! I go googly over googly eyes and I love a good read aloud children’s story. I love being creative and most importantly, I love watching my children’s creativity!

This past year we loved crafting with cupcake liners. We decided to carry on with the fun material in the new year by making our Cupcake Liner Photo Framed Valentine’s Cards.

Cupcake Liner Valentine’s Cards for Kids – Method

The process of making the heart photo frame with the cupcake liner is simple. Follow the instructions in the picture below. The size of your picture will vary based on the size of your heart and the picture you use, but we printed our pictures out at 2″ x 3″.

After making the heart photo frame, glue it to the middle of a folded 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of heavy cardstock paper. Add a glittery “i” and “u” sticker on the sides of the heart and you have a beautiful Valentine’s Card. You can also embellish your card with heart stickers if you choose.

Fill the inside of the card with a special poem or have your children write individual messages or draw pictures for the recipient. It will surely brighten some one’s day!
I’d love for you to stop by I Heart Crafty Things to say hello or check me out on Facebook. Here are a few other projects from my blog that you might enjoy.
