Free Amigurumi Hijab Doll Crochet Pattern

| | | |

Last week, I shared a wonderful guest post of a Hijab Crochet Doll.. and then my daughter couldn’t resist also making up an Amigurumi Hijab Crochet Doll design! She got busy over the weekend and made this lovely free crochet pattern for you! This little doll of course would be lovely for any little girl or boy all year round, but I think she would be especially lovely as an Eid Crochet Gift!

I posted some photos in a crochet group to ask about whether to make her with or without a mouth and the jury was out! WEll actually, I think there was a leaning towards WITH a mouth. But many also said that without allows this little doll to be used as a worry doll or in a SEN type environment. Some people also mentioned adding a little nose instead of a mouth.. so many options, all of them cute!! We can’t decide which is best!

Also: there was lots of requests for the pattern, so we have written it up quickly and will be adding more more photos soon! I promise!

Hijab Doll Assembly

Fold the hijab in half and sew together the two sides that have the top of the stitches from rnd 7 showing.

Put the hijab onto the head of the doll, with the two long strips hanging down either side of the head. The top of the hijab should look a bit pointy.

Wrap the two long ends of the hijab over one another to the opposite sides of the head. Flip your doll over and sew those two ends together. Then pull the back of the hijab down and sew it to the two sides that you have previously just sewn together.

Next fold down the pointy part at the top of the hijab and hold it with a pin. Then sew it down into place, so that the top of the hijab is no longer pointy.

And that is your doll finished!
