25 Great Artists for Toddlers

May 23, 2013

Today, I share 25 fantastic Art Projects for Toddlers. We have been looking at “Kids Get Arty” for over a year now on Red Ted Art and every two months I have ADORED seeing everyone’s chosen artists and relating art projects! To “celebrate” a whole year’s worth of great artists projects, I am collating our favourite toddler ones today (another post for older kids to follow!). This post focuses on art project suitable for the little artists among us – roughly speaking toddlers/ 2yrs olds children.

Usually,  in these projects a  toddler was actually at work!! But many projects were part of a family activity, so you will see how the same project applies to varying ages.

As activities for toddlers are trickier to plan and organise, I do hope that these Art Projects for Toddlers are just the thing for you! Enjoy!

25 Great Artist Projects for Toddlers to have a go at. Love these Art Projects for Toddlers and Preschool. Hands on messy fun! #ece #prek #teachers #greatartists #art

I have so enjoyed being a part of Kids Get Arty. I have been a bit slack lately with joining in. It is lovely to see a retrospective to get me back in the swing of things 🙂

These are great ideas. I love sharing art history stories and information about the great masters with my 5 year-old daughter. She remembers things that surprise me and has wonderful comments when we look at art on the internet or visit museums. Great resource!

Love these! Definitely sharing over at Art History Mom. In case you’re interested, I did a Michelangelo one which is more for older kids, but my 3 year old enjoyed it:
