Crochet Whale Pattern

| |

A quick cheeky post from us to update you on The Big Book of Beginner Amigurumi! First my daughter wrote all the patterns…. then.. the patterns where tested… and the book brought together. Now that all the “hard craft” is done, she has been exploring how great these patterns look not just with any old “DK yarn” that you may have lying around, but with super plush yarn too!! And here is the Crochet Whale:

Isn’t it simply the cutest both as a MINI and a CHONKY Whale? How love how great this pattern scales up and down. And how perfect this super plush whale crochet plushie would be for any markets (though I would sew on the eyes if selling any super chunky projects, just in case!).

AS mentioned, this crochet whale is one of 60 (yes that is right 60!!!) crochet projects that are all super quick and easy to make.

They were designed for:

  • relatively new beginners to stretch their skills and learn
  • to be quick and easy projects – so if you are time poor but love to crochet you can still finish of a project
  • to work with any yarn – so that you can have a rummage around your yarn stash and get creating straight away
  • to scale up and scale down.. the scaling up is fantastic for market stalls (with hand sewn eyes) and the scaled down ones are perfect as minis – be it for backpack charms or as Christmas ornaments…

Anyhoo.. enough from me. Wht not grab yourself a copt of the book today? We litterally do a little happy dance every time someone pre orders! THANK YOU!
