To make these Felt Spiders, you will need:
- Felt
- Embroidery Thread
- Needle
- 2 Buttons
- 4 Pipe Cleaners
- Stuffing
- Scissors
- Marker
- Safety Pin
How to sew a spider pin – quick and easy

Step 1: Draw or trace two identical circles and two smaller circles. (We used recycled lids, approximately 3 inches and 1.5 inches each to trace.)
Step 2: Cut out the circles.
Step 3: Thread a needle with embroidery thread.
Step 4: Sew the four pipe cleaners to the center of one of the larger circles.
Step 5: Place the two larger circles, one on top of the other, and sew around the outer edge, leaving a small area unfinished for stuffing.
Step 6: Add stuffing and stitch closed.
Step 7: Sew two buttons for eyes onto one of the smaller circles.
Step 8: Sew the two smaller circles almost together, leaving a small space for stuffing.
Step 9: Add a small amount of stuffing and stitch closed.
Step 10: Sew the smaller circles to the larger circles.
Step 11: Sew a safety pin to the back of the spider.
Step 12: Fold the tips of the legs and bend center of the legs of the spider.
Halloween parties or just because – this accessory is just the thing to add a little bit of Halloween fun everyday!
