How to make your artist split pin dolls

The assembly of these paper dolls, really is very simple:

  1. Take your time coloring in your paper doll coloring pages. You can use whatever medium you want, but we love combining coloring pencils with felt tip pens, to make different parts of your coloring pop!
  2. Carefully cut out all the pieces. You don’t have to be too precise around the details – the dolls will still look great even if they have a simple white outline.
  3. Make a small hole into the arm parts of the paper dolls (and legs for some of the dolls). Grown ups using a needle are probably best for this!
  4. Finally, you can connect the loose limbs with the main body by using your split pins.

Have fun with your Artist Paper dolls! Aren’t these fun? They are a great take home activity. But would also look great on a classroom bulletin board.. or maybe even turned into an “artist garland”. So fun!
