Beginning Quilling Christmas Tree Craft

This fun and colorful Christmas Tree craft teaches the beginning concept of quilling, but using pipe cleaners instead of paper is much easier for little hands!

For your Pipecleaner Christmas Tress you will need:

  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil or Marker

How to make pipecleaner Christmas Tree Decor

Create it!

Step 1: Paint a cardboard triangle green and allow it to dry.

Step 2: Select a variety of colors of pipe cleaners, cutting some in half.

Step 3: Wrap the pipe cleaner pieces around the pencil or marker to create tight circles. This is great for those fine motor skills!

Step 4: Glue the wrapped pipe cleaners to the triangle, filling in the space with different sized spirals.

If you’d like, add a star to the top of the tree to complete!
