Polar Bear Bookmark Corner

November 22, 2017

It has been a while since we shared a Corner Bookmark Design with you.. but we still love them as much as ever. In fact, we have created so many corner bookmarks over the last couple of years, that I haven’t actually had a chance to share them all here on the blog yet!!! And today’s Polar Bear Corner Bookmark is one of these “forgotten” designs that we made last year but hadn’t had the chance to show you here on Red Ted Art yet. So, today is the day… this simple Polar Bear Origami Bookmark really is a super easy bookmark design for you to make and perfect for Winter Reading (in fact, you may enjoy our complete colletction of Christmas Bookmarks Ideas here.. like I like to say – give a book and give a bookmark to make it special this Christmas). Plenty more Winter Crafts for Kids for you to browse as well!

  • Pens
  • A little contrasting colour of paper (optional) & glue
  • Scissors

How to make a Polar Bear Corner Bookmark

Yes, it is video time again.. however, if you prefer, I have some written step by step instructions below!

Aren’t these Paper Polar Bear Bookmarks just too cute?

How to make a Polar Bear Corner Bookmark Step By Step Instructions:

First you will have to make your basic Origami Bookmark. I have a post with step by step photos for you to read here (then come back!): How to make an Origami Bookmark

Once you have made your basic bookmark corner, take your scissors and round off all your corners (you don’t HAVE to do this.. but I think it is nice).

Cut out an oval for a “mouth piece” and two ears.

Add details to your ears and mouth and glue in place. If you are using contrasting colours for the mouth piece (e.g. in our case light blue paper) you can also use that to decorate the inside of the ears.

Once these parts are completed, you can draw on your Polar Bear’s eyes and some paws.

That is it.. that is how quick and easy it is to make a Polar Bear Corner Bookmark!! Enjoy.
