Disclaimer: Today’s printable is brought to you in collaboration with Learning Resources, a website dedicated to educational but FUN ideas for kids.
As Summer is slowly waving its good bye, it’s the perfect time to bring crafting fun to your classroom or home that focusses on the change of seasons ahead! We’ve got a fabulous wreath printable that show beautifully the change from Autumn to Winter featuring a cute little bear.
Kids get to choose the colours that they believe best fit either season, get to color in leaves, mushrooms, snowflakes, holly & berries and of course the bear. Then they get to arrange all items on their wreath. Once done twist and twirl to have the wreath move from Autumn to Winter again and again.
So.. Let’s get started!

This beautiful Autumn and Winter Printable offers a wonderful opportunity for students to color, cut, and assemble their own creations. It’s a fantastic way to explore seasonal colors, dive into colour theory, and practice fine motor skills, including scissor handling. How to make your printable wreath for Autumn and Winter
Step 1: Coloring the templates

Download the printable and enjoy some quality time colouring. There are three pages.
- The big ring shape will be the base of our wreath.
- One side will display Autumn. You will find Autumn elements such as leaves, mushroom and bear on one PDF page and
- on the other side for Winter, you will find snowflakes, holly & berries with bear.
When using watercolors, add water with a brush to the leaf first and then start adding colors. That way the colors can bleed into each other and we get these gorgeous multicolored Autumn leaves.

Wreath base:
Add Autumn colours to the printed side first. When dried turn around the page and add a winter colour to the back side in the area of the ring shape. Or if you wish to have a sturdier base, you can print out two rings, paint one for Autumn and one for Winter and then glue them together.
Step 2: Cut, glue & attach the wreath elements to the base
Cut out the leaf, mushroom, snowflake and holly & berry shapes.

Begin with the Autumn side and then turn over the wreath and glue all Winter related pieces to the back side of the wreath.
You can also give the bear a hat and a scarf!

When you have added the last item to the wreath add a hole with a hole punch for example and add a little thread so you can hang up your wreath.
