12 Zodiac Aniamls 3d Doodle Art – Classroom Fun for Lunar New Year
Hello hello! Time for some arty fun! Today, you get to have a go at this 3d Doodle Art coloring pages and printables. This is a great set of “mix and match” doodle art animal projects – you can create your own doodles if you wish, with the plain animal parts or mix and match them with our set of doodles. One set of printables per animal with lots of options to personalise. 2026 is the Year of the Horse, but we love making ALL these zodiac animals for Chinese New Year!
These doodle art projects can also be made in either 2d (ie do not use the little 3d tabs) or 3d. OR you can use the bonus pages and just use them as detailed coloring pages.
Supplies needed to make your Zodiac Doodle Art Projects:
- Plain paper – though can mix and match sections printed onto colored paper to make your designs pop
- Coloring pencils or felt tip pens
- Scissors
- Glue stick (to allow for the 3d Element)

How to use these doodle printable art projects for Lunar New Year:
As mentioned you can “mix and match” the plain animal features with the doodle features – so you can either create your own doodles, or also print on to colored paper, as we have done with the example of the Year of the Horse:
All the Zodiac animal coloring pages, can be used independently, so not JUST for chinese new year. E.g. I think this horse cut and paste craft would be a wonderful activity to do for The Year of the Horse! But of course would also be popular for any horse craft fans! Be it for celebrations like the Kentucky Derby, a Farmyward unit or “just because”. So whether you love cows, goats or horses, or you are crafting for the Lunar New Year, have a go at these printable doodle art pages throughout the year!
