Weeeeeellll. We had SO MUCH FUN with our Farm Animal Finger Puppets, that I simply couldn’t resist another set of fun animal printagbles for you – this time we have a set of 10 Jungle Animal Finger Puppets or Rainforest Animal Finger Puppet! Each coloring page comes with a little fact about each animal, the puppet itself and some space to add extra drawings about the animal…

10 jungle animals to collect

PLEASE NOTE: these are FINGER PUPPETS! So they are smaller and NOT hand puppets! Though if you want to print this over two pages (fiddle with your printer settings they can be used as handpuppets as well!)

This jungle or rainforest set of animals, includes:

  1. A monkey
  2. A capybara (ridiculously cute animal)
  3. A sloth (oh how we love sloths, especially ones that make a BIG yawn)
  4. A snake
  5. A leopard
  6. A toucan
  7. A cockatiel (could double easily as a parakeet)
  8. A poison dart frog (or green tree frog)
  9. A lemur
  10. And an ocelot!

That really is quite a collection of jungle animals to choose from, don’t you think?

Supplies needed for this set of Animal FINGER Puppets!

  • Printer and printer paper
  • Pens, crayons, pencils – your choice of coloring tools
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick (to add the finger holders)

How to make your finger puppets

Making these finger puppets is really VERY EASY!!!

All you need to do, to assemble this cute farm animal puppets, is:

colored in and cutting out the snake
  • Print your favourite animals
  • Color them in
  • Cut out carefully
fold the snakes head into a zig zag
  • Fold the head into a zig zag
  • Cut out the two strips for your fingers
add the finger tabs
  • Glue the finger strips in place

Make one. Make them all. A fun collectible Jungle Animal Craft to enjoy in the classroom or at home.

Extension options: instead of usingthe finger strips, you can glue your puppet to clothes pins… turning them into fun clothes pin animal puppets too!
