Kawaii Melon Corner Bookmark
Another blast from the past as we finally share another Origami Bookmarks from a couple of years ago! Todays, lovely Summer Corner Bookmark is this super duper happy Kawaii Melon Corner Bookmark!
Another quick and easy Corner Bookmarks Designs for you to have a go at. We have made ROUND Melon Corner bookmarks before – but I think this one is much easier and fun!

Cute Melon Corner Bookmark – Materials
- A green piece of square paper (we cut down A4 into 2 squares of approximately 15 x 15cm – but any size is fine!)
- Some scraps of white and red paper and pink for cheeks
- Black pen for facial features
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Kawaii Melon Corner Bookmark Step By Step Instructions
Begin by making a basic Origami Bookmark in green. We have Origami Bookmark Step by Step Instructions (including photos) or check our handy Melon Corner Bookmark video above!
Tuck in the “loose” flap of the corner bookmark to make a triangle.
Once you have made your basic GREEN Bookmark Corner it is time to make your melon face!
Making the kawaii melon face
Cut a white strip of paper – long enough to go across the green bookmark.
Then cut a red triangle (use the bookmark to trace and get the size correct).
Glue the white strip of paper down. Then the red on top. So that you now have a green, white and then red part of the melon bookmark.
Finally, taking the pen add melon seeds and a kawaii face. Pluse some rosy pink cheeks using a pink paper and a hole punch.
The kawaii eyes
You can add some sparkle to the eyes with white paint and a toothpick! OR draw some eyes on white paper and cut out. Whichever you find easier to do!
