The Winter Olympics is just around the corner. As mentioned before in our Free Olympic Torch Coloring Page, this year the Winter olympics are known as Milano Cortina 2026 is hosted in Northern Italy (6th Feb – 22nd Feb). I thought it would be fun to bring together a great list of Winter Olympic Activities and Crafts to do at home or in the classroom. Make your own snow for indoor sensory play
First up, let me share this set of SIX DIY Snow recipes – the Winter Olympics, are, of course all about activities in the Ice and Snow.. if you don’t have any where you live, having a go at this fake snow activity, could be a great way to get you started!

Paper Plate Ice Skating Craft
This is a super fun paper plate ice skating craft by The Pinterested Parent. It comes complete with a free Ice Skater Template – that you can use in many ways and not “just” this 3d Ice Skating Craft. e.g. a popular version of this printable, is to use draw some white lines in white crayon on some paper. Flood it with blue water colors and then add your own colored in ice skater. So cute and so easy! Ice Skate Lacing Activities
Our Kid Thing, as another lovely Ice Skating Activity idea – make these lacing cards! Love the combination of the Ice skates and the Paper Plate. Again, head over and grab yourself a free ice skate template! This would work well as both a Figure Ice Skating Craft activity and an Ice Hockey Craft or a Speed Skating Craft!
