Easy Basketball Crafts for Kids

Basketball Wreath or Sports Ball Wreath

Check out the Mix and Match Sports Ball Wreath – grab the basketball printables, a pair of scissors and your glue stick and turn them into a Paper Plate Basketball Wreath for March Madness. The full set available on Teacher’s Pay Teachers.

Easy Origami Cup and Basketball

This is such a fun origami basketball craft that the kids will LOVE to make and adore to play with. The paper cup, becomes your simple origami hoop and some orange paper your basket ball. It is the perfect March Madness activity or could be used as a Basketball Party Craft! Origami is often considered as a simple STEAM project (maths aspect of symmetry, folding shapes etc), so it also ticks the STEAM Basketball Project box!

Recycled Basketball Hoop

Tippy Toe Crafts has a super fun recycled baketball hoop craft on their site. Love the you only need some egg cartons, small yoghurt pots and a little construction paper for this DIY. You can use either a paper straw or wooden chopstick for the hoop pole. Make your own mini basketball pom poms with our Fork Pom Pom method.
