Paper Bag Snowman
Building a snowman is a favorite winter time activity. But, if you don’t have snow or would prefer to stay inside where it’s warm, give this simple to make snowman a try!
To make a paper bag snowman, you will need:
- Lunch Sized Paper Bag
- Cardstock or Cardboard
- Newspaper
- Yarn or String
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make a paper bag snowman
Create it!
Step 1: Create a ball from newspaper.
Step 2: Place the newspaper ball inside the paper bag and tie it closed with a piece of yarn or string.
Step 3: Paint the rounded portion of the paper bag white and allow it to dry.
Step 4: From painted cardboard or cardstock, cut a hat shape. We cut two shapes – a main portion and one for the brim – and glued them together.
Step 5: Cut cardstock and glue a hat band to the hat.
Step 6: Glue the hat to the top portion of the paper bag.
Step 7: From cardstock or painted cardboard, cut a nose and eyes for your snowman.
Step 8: Glue the eyes and nose to the bottom, rounded portion of the paper bag.
Your snowman should stand upright when placed on a shelf for a fun, wintery decoration!
