Let’s make a paper plate horse – step by step photos

There are actually two ways of making this – with JUST the paper plate or with brown paper cut outs. If you are going to JUST use the paper plate, you may want to paint the whole plate brown first. And use the cut out for your horse head and tail.
Cut out the arche of the paper plate and paint brown.

Cut out your basic horse shapes – you will need an egg shaped oval for the horse’s head, two ears (like tear drops) and a an arche for the tail.
Stick the ears to the horse’s head.

Now you will need a horses mane and “tassle” for the tail. You can cut these from spare paper or use any left over paper plate cut outs.
Glue to the horse parts.
You will also need a beige “muzzle” for the horse. Glue in place.

Now glue the horses head and tail to your paper plate arche.
And draw on eyes and nostrils.
Wasn’t this easy?
