Quick Craft Post: Easter Chick Cards
I love these little Easter chick cards – they are perfect for preschoolers or toddlers to help with, but I think are cute made by any age group. I made them for an Easter series at the Guardian last year and haven’t had a chance to post them on Red Ted Art yet. They also make fabulous little Easter Bookmarks DIYs But here they are! Nice and easy, and so quick to make:

Supplies needed to make your Finger Print Chicks:
- Paper (paper cut offs are perfect for this too)
- Yellow finger paint (have you ever tried this homemade finger paint recipe?)
- Red and black pen for details
- Scissors or a ruler for tearing
- If making cards: cardstock
- If making bookmarks: card cut offs + maybe a ribbon or some pom poms
How to make your Finger Print Chicks

- Make some thumb prints or finger prints.
- Let them dry.
- Add little details to turn these into little chicks!
- Cut out or use a ruler for a “rough but straight tear” and stick onto your cardstock!
- For Bookmarks – make a hole with a hole punch and add a ribbon or ribbon with a pom pom or tassel!
Easy peasy Easter cards sorted!
