Now, 5yrs on, we are (slowly) able to share these lovely arts and crafts projects with you on our websites too! So, DO explore our Best Makes Ever Series tab for more info.. or check out some of our highlighted projects here, that work particularly well for the Halloween Season
- Another wonderful sewing project – make super cute Felt Owl Ornaments or Felt Fox Ornaments (using basic shapes!) – you could switch the colours out and make the owls more “spooky” if you wish

How to make Plastic Lid Suncatchers for Halloween – Step by Step
Making these Halloween Suncatchers is super and easy! Once you have gathered your recycled supplies, it is time to get started!

Start by cutting up the tissue paper into small squares. You can also “tear” it if you perfer. Both are great for developing those fine motor skills!

Sketch out what Halloween character you would like for your recycled suncatcher. Make sure it FITS the size of your lid. Here we have a cat and a spider. Though of coure pumpkins are perfect too (and shown in the video!).

Check your suncatcher for size.

Add glue to the plastic lid and distribute evenly.

Start adding your tissue paper. I would not add TOO Many layers, esle your sun catcher may become a little opaque.

Glue your Halloween character in place too!

Let dry fully!

Make more Halloween Suncatcher designs… you will find that they are quite addictive!

We especially love the pumpkin faces. Don’t they look great?
