That said, I think a great rose craft can be made all year round – for Mother’s Day for Birthdays.. or just because! Today’s how to make a rose posts, focus on FREE Rose Crochet Patterns! Today’s collection of Free Rose Crochet Patterns, are a bit of a medly of crochet roses.. I did try and group them and then got a little confused as to what belong where. Ha. So instead, I present you simply with the lovely Free Rose Crochet Patterns I could find! So. ENJOY!!!

How to crochet a rose on a stem
First up our very own Rose on a Stem Crochet Pattern. I say “very own”, but it is a lovely guest post from the fantastic Romantasy Crochet Club Book. I love that this a relatively quick and easy crochet rose on a stem – that you can scale up or down depending on the type of yarn you use!


Simple Crochet Rose Head
Next, I have one of many Rose Crochet Patterns that focus on “just” the rose head. These little crochet roses are perfect for combining with other projects – e.g. a Rose Wreath, a Rose Hair Clip or Brooch, to add to a keychain or bag… of whatever takes your fancy!

Mini Crochet Rose Pattern
Love these mini roses by Sol de Noche! They look like they are super quick to make and would look great as these mini rose clips! But I am sure you can think of lots of other uses for these lovely roses.

Masie and Ruth as more rose minis and ways to use them. And again, offers different sizes. I have to say, these lovely roses do look adorable with her crochet baby clothes!

Isn’t it the cutest? A definite must make for crochet lovers. And love that this pattern is one again free.

Moara Crochet has a fabulous rose granny square! These would look amazing as a Granny Square Bag don’t you think? So very lovely.

Rose Gnome Crochet Pattern
Winding Road Crochet has a wonderful gnome crochet pattern to make with you. This is a great example, of where you can take a “base pattern” (the crochet gnome), switch out the colours and make some embellishments (the crochet roses) to adapt designs for the seasons. SO CUTE!

Rose Headband
Fosbas Designs takes the lovely little crochet roses and adds a crochet headband to her craft to make these lovely roses wearable. The headband alone is lovely too!

How to make a rose bookmark!
It’s Called Crochet blog has this great rose crochet bookmar. You know how we love bookmark and these little crochet roses are simply darling!
