Crochet Pig Pattern
We love to crochet and the talented Craft Alotl has created a brand new corchet pattern for you today. It is part of a mini series comprising a quirky plant character, pig crochet pattern and another lovely rabbit crochet pattern! But first.. to the pig crochet project!

There is the little piggy plushie, little Sprout and rabbit pattern! Aren’t they adorable? I think little Sprout shows how cute the feet pattern is. Love it! Crochet Abbreviations
American Crochet Terminology for the crochet stitches is used through.
- MC – Magic Circle (also known as Magic Rings)
- SC – Single Crochet Stitch
- Sl St – Slip stitch
- FLO – front loop only
- BLO – back loop only
- Inc – Increase
- Dec – Decrease
- CCA – change colour to A
- CCB – change colour to B
- BB – bobble stitch

Pig Crochet Pattern
Start with Piggy’s head in colour A
01: 6sc into mc [6]
02: 6 inc [12]
03: (1sc, inc) x6 [18]
04: 1sc, inc (2sc, inc) x5, 1sc [24]
05 – 08: 24sc [24] Place eyes between rnds 6&7, roughly 6 stitches apart.
09: 1sc, dec (2sc, dec) x5, sc [18]
10: (1sc, dec) x6 [12]
11: In FLO (1sc, inc) x6 [18]
12-14: In both loops, 18sc [18]
15: 4sc, CCB, BB, CCA, 3sc, CCB, BB, CCA, sc, CCB, BB, CCA, 3sc, CCB, BB, CCA, 3sc [18]
16: in BLO (1sc, dec) [12]
17: in both loops, 6 dec [6]
Fasten off and seal hole.
Make two pig ears
01: 6sc into mc [6]
02: (1sc, inc) x3 [9]
03-05: 9sc [9]
Fold the ear in half and crochet along the top, making sure to crochet both sides together. Leave a long tail.
Make the piggy nose
01: Ch 4 [4]
02: Skip 1st Stitch, 3sc, sl st in same stitch [4]
Leave long tail, sew nose directly between eyes. Embroider nostrils.
Sew on ears.
And finished! Tra-la-laaaaa!
