Let’s make another lovely crochet plushie toy! Today we have this cute little Crochet Rabbit Pattern. This little rabbit is part of a little trio of friends – the crochet pig, the crochet sprout and of course, the crochet rabbit pattern! They are all made and designed by the fabulous Craft Alotl! Crochet Abbreviations
American Crochet Terminology for the crochet stitches is used through.
- MC – Magic Circle (also known as Magic Rings)
- SC – Single Crochet Stitch
- Sl St – Slip stitch
- FLO – front loop only
- BLO – back loop only
- Inc – Increase
- Dec – Decrease
- BB – bobble stitch

Rabbit Crochet Pattern
Start with Rabbit’s head
01: 6sc into mc [6]
02: 6 inc [12]
03: (1sc, inc) x6 [18]
04: 1sc, inc (2sc, inc) x5, 1sc [24]
05 – 08: 24sc [24] Place eyes between rnds 6&7, roughly 6 stitches apart.
09: 1sc, dec (2sc, dec) x5, sc [18]
10: (1sc, dec) x6 [12]
11: In FLO (1sc, inc) x6 [18]
12-14: In both loops, 18sc [18]
15: 4sc, BB, 3sc, BB, sc, BB, 3sc, BB, 3sc [18]
16: in BLO (1sc, dec) [12]
17: in both loops, 6 dec [6]
Fasten off and seal hole.
Make two rabbit’s ears
01: 6sc into mc [6]
02: (1sc, inc) x3 [9]
03-05: 9sc [9]
Fold the ear in half and crochet along the top, to attach the two sides. Leave a long tail. sew the ears on the top of the head. embroider nose between the eyes.
Make the tail
01: 5sc into mc [5] 02: 5sc [5]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the tail between the two back legs.
