6 Festive Paper Crafts to Make This Christmas

Paper Flowers: Poinsettia – well, what doesn’t say Christmas Decoration more than a beautiful Poinsettia Flower? Such a classic wonderful Christmas plant, that lends itself perfectly for a lovely paper craft. Making these 3d Paper Flowers is surprisingly easy and they look great in both white and red paper. The white makes it extra economical as you can just use regular printer paper!

I love these Paper Poinsettias so much so, that they had to OF COURSE be included in my Easy Paper Projects book (UK readers can get a copy on my Ebay account – they are brand new author copies that I am selling at a reduced price).

3D Ornament Printables – here is a wonderful craft for you that requires very little preparation, as it comes with a fantastic set of free templates – our 3d Ornaments! Not just that you, can sneakily explore some shapes with your kids, as we have included, circles, triangles and squares in the designs. And the results are so cute. So print, color, cut and assemble and make yourself some wonderful paper Christmas Ornaments!
Do have a go at these whilst they remain free – as I do often (have to) adjust free products to paid for products over time!

Paper Plate Christmas Tree Whirligig – I had to include this twirling Christmas tree as it is sooo easy to make and a great way to decorate a child’s bedroom or to have a whole set Paper Christmas Trees hanging in a classroom for Christmas! These always take me back to some twirling black cats we made when I myself was in primary school. A very strong (and happy) memory!

Easy Paper Plate Angel Craft – we have two versions of these super cute little 3d angels. They can either be made from paper plates or made using our free 3d Paper Angel template (remember to use the discount code at check out). My kids loved these angels so much when we first made them, that I think they ended up making something like 30-40 of them? They even started cutting out their own shapes (ie no longer needed a template). It was so much fun!

3D Paper Christmas Tree Luminary – have you ever cut out a paper snowflake from paper? Yes? Did you love the process? I hope so.. because if you love making paper snowflakes.. then you will realise that you can use almost the same technique to make these wonderful little 3d Christmas Trees. Better still, pop an electric tea light under neath and you have the cutest little Paper Christmas Decoration at the same time!

3D Paper Snowflakes – finally the giant snowflake. I confess, I really need to redo the video and add some step photos on this, but for some reason you guys already love the post the way it is – and keep coming to it year on year. So for now, I feel I should included it. Especially as these giant paper snowflakes are so pretty and great for “filling” large spaces with paper snowflake decorations.
Anyhoo.. that is it for now.
