I ADORE that she took our favourite Sea Shell Fridge Magnet turtles and Crabs and turned them into these fanatsic Salt Dough Turtles. Combining our Sea Shell Fridge Magnets with our Salt Dough Turtles. And making it classroom friendly!

Materials for Salt Dough Sea Shell Turtles

Making colored salt dough is easy and fun!

Homemade Salt Dough ( you can COLOUR it beofre using or paint it afterwards like Miss B did here)
Sea Shells
Paints
Magnets
Hot glue gun (adults to help with this)

How to make Salt Dough Sea Shell Turtles

For salt dough you only need flour, salt and water. We have a great step by step Homemade Salt Dough post for you to check out here. As mentioned you can colour it before moulding or paint it afterwards!

Let the kids make their fabulous Salt Dough Turtles. Add the shells to the back. To make the right shape for them. But you will glue them on later.

Let try fully.

Paint the the turtles.

Glue on your sea shells and fridge magnets with a hot glue gun (adult supervision)
