Enter Epiphany Crafts for Kids or also known as Three Kings Day (also known as dia de los reyes).
Epiphany is the day that the Magi arrive in Jerusalem to meet Baby Jesus. They are late and it is 12 days after Christmas. So if you are looking to find out when is three kings day it is always on the 6th January.
Many countires celebrate 3 Kings Day with a special 3 Kings Day cake. And in some countries (e.g. Spain) children used to get their gifts on this day – which kind of made sense, as the Magi came bearing gifts. Of the years we have made a few simple 3 kings day activities with the kids.
We always eat cake and follow the tradition of hiding a ceramic figurine in the cake. The person to find it, is king for the day!! It is alos the day that our Magi finally reach our nativity set. They start on their journey around the living room on Christmas Eve, finally arriving on the 6th January. It is a super fun and simple tradition.
Anyway. On to our simple Three Wise Men crafts and activities for kids. If you fancy more Christmas Crafts for kids keep reading!
