25 Easy Bat Crafts for Kids to make in October
Oooh we do adore BATS!! Time for some Bat Crafts for Kids and Bat Crafts for Toddlers! I know some like to refer to them as rats with wings, but I think that that is rather unkind. I think bats are rather adorable. I don’t know what it is about them, but there you go… I am a bat lover! And as a bat lover, I am always on the look out for lovely bat crafts for kids – especially with Halloween around the corner, it is a great time to get bat crafty. It includes all sorts of fabulous Bat Crafts and Bat Printables (part of a great set of Free Halloween Printables!). So come on, let’s make a Halloween Bat or two together!

Super cute Bat Craft for Preschoolers and Toddlers to enjoy!
With free printable template: Time for a Flapping Bat Craft for kids – a simple bats STEM activity. If you need some Bat Printables, check out this adorable and easy Bat Paper Puppet with Template. The printable (at the time of writing) continues to be a FREE Bat Template – so do grab it whilst you can. Then simply cut out some paper googly eyes and colorful tummy and you are sorted..
This is an all time favourite bat craft of ours. And another great recycled Bat Craft for kids, are these fantastic Mini Bat Pinata/ Goodie Bag/ Craft aren’t they the cutest? Such a fun way to hand out sweets! If we were to make these again, I would probably only change the fact that I used plastic googly eyes and replace them with some handdrawn paper ones, which are just as cute, are free and easier to recycle! We used acrylic paint for the shiny finish, but any paint will do!
Don’t bats make Fun Halloween Crafts? I love how this toilet paper roll bat is made as halloween decor – making HANGING Bats by el hada de papel. Such a great hanging bat craft. These could be strung up as a garland or hung from an indoor Halloween tree as bat ornaments.

Hanging Bats Decoration by HGTV – these are no longer active, but I wanted to keep the image, as they are a fab inspiration. Make these from craft foam and they should last all fall season!
Clever bat decoration idea… turn black balloons into fabulous Balloon Bats by Spoonful – again Spoonful is no longer available. But hopefully, this image will provide enough inspiration for you. Get two black balloons, some black paper for bat wings and ears. Cut some eyes (or use sticker eyes) and fangs.. and then carefully glue it all together to make these fun Balloon Bats!
