Fun With Fairy Tales - 40 Crafts & Activities #FairyTales #preschool

My kids are JUST at that age, where they love Fairy Tales and can’t get enough of them. They are 6yrs and 4yrs old and I guess their addiction is also fuelled by Fairy Tale Activities at Preschool and School.

So Fairy Tales it…. and when we say Fairy Tale Crafts we don’t JUST mean the fairy tale crafts for the little kiddos (though of course those are particularly popular), but also Fairy Tale crafts for older kids and grown ups (who doesn’t love a little bit of Alice in Wonderland magic?!). Whether you are a fan of brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Andersen, here is something for everyone!

If you love Fairy Tales  but are specifically looking for DRAGON CRAFTS, we have a whole section dedicated to those! Lets get stuck into these wonderful Preschool Crafts today! Enjoy!

Disney Princess Crafts

To begin with, we have two set so fabulous Disney Princess Crafts that you simply HAVE to see:

disney princess
A total of 7 Princesses to choose from + two colour your own versions

We love these Princess Paper Dolls – they are perfect as little “fold away” paper doll toys, or look ADORABLE as Christmas Tree Ornaments. I love the two colour your own versions – as you do not need a colour printer for these AND you can customises skin tones and hair colours.

disney bookmarks

Similarly, we have a set of wonderful Disney Princess Corner Bookmarks. I love the Moana one best. Making her flower head dress was so much fun. Once you have checked out my designs and instructions, you may come up with your own designs… e.g. I haven’t yet had a go at Sleeping Beauty – maybe you can design your own?

Princess Crafts – Crowns and Fairy Wands

Popsicle Stick Fairy Tale Puppets

frozen popsicle puppets

Here is a “generic” idea that you can use for ANY of your favourite fairy tale characters – but we used them for Frozen characters. Make some popsicle sticks puppets – simply find some images of your favourite fairy tale character, print them off, get your little ones to cut them out (great cutting skills practice) and stick them pn a craft stick! Job done! Here are our frozen puppets as a reference.

Fairy Tale Castle Crafts

Finally.. some castles to go with most of your fairy tales!

They are actually made with Toilet Paper Rolls – but are all different:

Do let me know if the are more grimms fairy tales you would like me to explore. Maybe I need to work on Sinbad or some Arabian Nights next? Leave me a comment so I know what to focus on! I know Hansel and Gretel are missing.. and I will be looking at these next (though these Gingerbread House Cards are a good start!).
